Hotel el Pati is, in our opinion, simply the most enchanting hotel in Catalonia. Painstakingly restored over several years by owners Jose and Yolanda, this traditional 18th Century Catalan house comprises of just five beautiful rooms, each carefully designed and decorated with the utmost detail. The beds & bathrooms are particular highlights, and the 4-course breakfast in the courtyard is truly memorable.

An evening meal in the hotel restaurant is also a must - not least for the stunning courtyard setting, surrounded by the Old Castle Walls, but you'll soon realize why its modern Mediterranean cuisine is renowned as some of the best the region can offer.

The hotel is set in the heart of the Medeival town of Peratallada - famous for its breathtaking architecture. The old moat surrounding the town, which no longer has water in it, is what it was named after - pedra Tallada (Carved Rock). It's real attraction is that it has managed to preserve it's rustic character and at the same time offers the visitor a number of fascinating art & craft shops and a range of excellent restaurants.
