You can devise your own walking tour or choose one of the following:

Tour 1 - El Born, La Boqueria and El Barrio Gotico

This is a chance to really get to know your neighbourhood  - its architecture, its shops, bars and restaurants and its most famous landmark, the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Mar. Your guide will take you on a stroll through some of the charming backstreets of el Barrio Gotico to the impressive square of Plaza Jaume.

Stopping off at various shops on the way, you'll make your way to the famous Ramblas, a must-see on any visit to the city, where you can find everything from pet rabbits, flowers, postcards to jewellery. The street is lined with human statues and is a great place to people-watch.

Next stop: the world-famous Boqueria, Europe's biggest and most colourful food market. You might want to buy some spices, wine or hams, or perhaps you'll stop off for a drink and a bite at one of the bustling market cafes. Saunter back home through the city's Barrio Gotico, the heart of the old town, and be seduced by its maze of narrow streets and quaint shops selling anything from shoes to freshly-made sweets.

Tour 3- Bohemian Barcelona by Night

For those of you with an interest in the darker side of life, this should be just up your street. The district is one of Barelona's most colourful and culturally diverse and is home to many different communities, which is reflected in its restaurants and bars.
